Project Description : Located in the Karantina district of Beirut, Recess Club has established itself as a prominent venue in Lebanon's nightlife scene. Situated along the seaside road, the club offers patrons a dynamic and immersive experience, blending modern design with the city's vibrant energy. Recess Club is renowned for its state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, creating an unparalleled atmosphere for dance and music enthusiasts. The venue frequently hosts events featuring both local and international DJs, contributing to its reputation as a hub for electronic music in Beirut. With its strategic location and cutting-edge facilities, Recess Club continues to be a standout destination for nightlife aficionados in the region.

 

Scope of work:

For Recess Club, Akoustone delivered a tailored acoustic design and implementation, ensuring an immersive nightlife experience with optimal sound control and clarity. The project began with comprehensive acoustic assessments, including on-site measurements and advanced simulations to understand the venue’s acoustic challenges. Based on these findings, we engineered a custom sound treatment strategy, incorporating our AKOUSTONE SONICNOVA PET panels to enhance sound absorption and minimize reverberation, while maintaining the club’s powerful audio impact. Special attention was given to balancing high-energy sound levels with acoustic precision, ensuring a dynamic yet controlled environment. By seamlessly integrating our solutions with the club’s state-of-the-art sound system, we created a space where music is experienced at its fullest, setting a new benchmark for premium club acoustics in Beirut.
