Located in Baghdad, Iraq, the World Heart Hotel is a five-star luxury establishment offering 320 rooms, including 285 standard rooms, 35 upscale suites, and 54 luxury apartments. Strategically situated with panoramic views of the Tigris River, the hotel features a convention palace with a 240-seat auditorium, two ballrooms, and multiple meeting rooms equipped with advanced technology. Guests can enjoy various dining options, a gym, spa, and a suspended swimming pool with an elegant design. Additionally, the complex includes a 150-unit shopping mall showcasing international brands, creating a comprehensive entertainment hub for guests and visitors alike.

 

Scope of work:

For the World Heart Hotel project, Akoustone conducted a comprehensive acoustic study, addressing critical elements such as sound insulation, reverberation control, and ambient noise management to ensure superior acoustic comfort across all spaces. The study encompassed guest rooms, conference areas, entertainment spaces, and the hotel’s auditorium, each requiring tailored acoustic solutions to enhance speech intelligibility, privacy, and overall auditory experience. Specialized room acoustic modeling was performed to optimize reverberation times and frequency balance, ensuring clarity in both speech and music within the auditorium and meeting spaces. Additionally, a detailed MEP noise and vibration assessment was conducted to mitigate mechanical noise transmission and comply with international hospitality acoustic standards. By integrating precise acoustic treatment strategies, Akoustone provided a refined acoustic environment that seamlessly aligns with the hotel’s luxury and functionality.
